LEGOŽ mindstorms NXT

  The NXT is a good kit to learn and build off of. With limited ports and motor controls this is a great starter kit for younger students to learn about robotics. The graphical software development tool, LabVIEW, makes it easy to create programs with simple building blocks.

  With use of other LEGO Technic kits, you can add on to the Mindstoms Technic parts for larger bots. Some kits even contain assemblies to assist in building many styles of manipulators.
